I struggled with that too. Andy Aledort has a DVD out going over the entire Axis album. You might be able to pick it up at the local Barns and Noble mag rack. That's where I got it a couple of months back.

He slows down the parts to show you what's going on. He doesn't give it you note for note but you can clearely see what he's doing. Once you get the jist it's not too hard.
