Our most hellish time came 9 months ago as we were set to play the only booking we had in the diary. We were on the verge of breaking up with no work in site. Petty squabbles between us all and a fist-fight (tho luckily not on stage)between 2nd guitarist and drummer all as a result of frustration.
Now playing every weekend we're just happy to have plenty to go at and we're grateful for every gig we play. To be honest always find something positive about any gig no matter how crappy the venue or small the crowd.
For the record the 2nd guitarist and drummer patched things up and havent assaulted each other since.
For anyone interested we turned things around with a UK produced manual "Gig-getter: How to get more gigs than you can play" from www.gig-getter.co.uk website |
