|
|
| I'm trying to learn SRV's "Crossfire" and there's a couple sections in it where he does a bend on two string both on the same fret. I'm trying to figure out how he does it with just one finger, because when I watch him play it, it doesn't look like he's using a finger for each bending string. Any help or ideas? It's on the 14th fret, whole bend on the 2nd and 3rd strings from the bottom. |

If it is the bend I'm thinking of, you bend up with your third finger and when you get to the next string you want to bend, let that string slip under your finger tip. You may have to very slightly raise your finger tip to grab the second string.
That's how I do it anyway. _________________

i personally use a complex system of magnets... once i reach that particular part of the song i just lower the guitar slightly, and the strings are bent magnetically...
saves useless wear of the fingers... _________________ The good Admin giveth, and he taketh away... |

If it's what I'm thinking it's just a small, 2 string "bar" with the pad of your finger tip... and a bend. I do that all the time... but I do it on .010's... not the wire coat hangers SRV used as strings. _________________
