....we were playing "Come Together" Aerosnith-style in this retro-rock club in CT - The great hairless one -. High ceilings and guitars hung all around the top of the walls as art- hollowbodies, solid bodies- all kinds.
Anyway, in the middle of the song, this big jazz-style hollowbody falls down and misses our singer/bass player by inches and smashes on the ground next to him.
We kept going and never missed a beat. Cool

My first real band was playing a redneck joint in a little town in upstate NY. They let us use the kitchen to change. Well we got through the night and were accepted pretty well. I owned the van so as usual I was the last one to leave the parking lot. All my band mates had left so I started to pull out of the dirt parking lot when 2 cars came sliding from both sides in a hail of dust and blocked me in. Two guys come running up to the window of my van (the bartender and his son) screaming about his stolen hat. Apparently someone had stolen his grimey old ball cap from the kitcken. I had NO idea what they were talking about it was freaky. I knew I couldn't outrun them and I was gettin' a little worried but I guess the astounded look on my face finally calmed them down a little an I told them I would try to find out who took the hat and have it returned. Well, they let me go. At the next band practice the harp player comes in and says check out my new hat! I almost punched him...

They always seem to be about 2 notes short of a G chord.

You know it! Our harp player would show up after all the heavy stuff was set up with his little TV tray and a lunchpail with harps in it. We finally killed him.
