I am working on a solo for a song and am trying to confirm the name of a chord.
the formula is

1(Db) 5(Ab) 7(C) 9(Eb) 12(Ab)

1st string 4th fret
2nd string 4th fret
3rd string 5th fret
4th string 6th fret
5th string 4th fret

The bass player is playing a Db

I think it is a DbMaj7add9

Can someone please verify this for me??
Thanks

Ab/Db

Ab with a Db in the bass. The Db is a 4th... has nothing to do with a maj7 or 9th. One doesn't always consider the lowest note in the chord to be the tonic center.

ok, I appriciate the input!
Looks like I have options, I can think of it as a Db9 with no 3rd or I can see it as Ab with a Db bass, so the Ab can also be used in soloing.
Any suggestons on scales or arps or modes to use while soling? The song is Loisianna Sunday afternoon by Diane Shure.

Thanks again!
