Well I'll keep it short-
This all happened at an audition.
I replied to an ad on Craig's list and started communicating with the singer. Everything was pretty cool and we set a date for me to sit in on the bands practice.
I show up and the first thing the drummer (the "leader" of the band) says to me is "did you listen to the cd"?
A fight breaks out between the singer and the drummer because I was not given the CD.
After the "audition" the drummer goes on to tell me how big of a band they are and how they opened up for poison. I though to myself I saw Poison last year (reliving my youth, sorry) and I'm pretty sure you were not the opening act.
So to top it all off the title of my story "Blood on the tracks" on my hour ride home, I am the first person to show up to an accident scene. One car hit a deer, hit the gaurd rail, girl was thrown out back window of a mini cooper hit her head on the road.
YES! Audition from HELL- |

What a mess. I hope everything is okay, for the girl and the band thing. _________________ Girls Rock!

You know its funny- I did everything I could to help the girl. The back of her head was all bloody and who knows what else. I got her to a safe place (off the road) started to stabilize her head and then another car came racing along, I flagged it down, and believe it or not it was a nurse. She took over the first aid duties. There was no cell phone service so I ran all the way to the nearest house (maybe a 1/4 mile away).
Finally all the paramedics got there ect. They pushed us away.
So we left.
I never found out what happened, who it was, or anything. Weird.
I did some research on the band. I actually found them on Allmusicguide.com Bad reviews. I listened to the CD they gave me (post-audition). Unless I wanted to be in an Evanesance rip-off band I was not interested.
I can't stand those bands anyway lol |

Nice work fishlog.
When I was a little girl, paramedics pushed me and my dad away too at a playground, after we got a dead lady's heart beating. My dad felt her pulse and checked her and she wasn't breathing either. They yelled at me not to look - I was obeying dad's orders not to leave the scene, he did not want to lose me in the crowd of gawkers or strangers and save the lady? And my dad wanted his jacket back that he put on the victim, who lived. I don't like paramedics any more. I see them in the donut shops and they are jerks on their break time. And they want respect, arrogant SOB's.
Nevermind Evanescence. Too depressing. They'll probably kill themselves. Good luck finding a band. _________________ Girls Rock!
