Greetings to all.

I really dig the slide chops on James Taylor’s Copperline:

It seems to focus more on a major scale and it’s a great example of slide work that doesn’t sound bluesy. I’m familiar with a bunch of different slide tunings, but they all focus on blues.

Anyone one know of a good resource of slide instruction that’s not bluesy?

Thanks y’all!

Yes I can..........

Thats called a Dobro, and it's mainly used for Bluegrass music.
The supreme master of that instrument is a man by the name of Jerry Douglas, and by coincedence.............thats him with James Taylor in the video. He is like the Jimi Hendrix-Chet Atkins of the instrument and he has lots of instructional DVDs on the market.
