I particularly like the grain pattern below the bridge, which looks like a rose in fact - very appropriate. _________________ Just your average run-of-the-mill Superhero 'n stuff

I hadn't noticed that...spot on though Cap'n
She's in the workshop at the moment, having some nasty wiring done by someone with questionable wiring and soldering expertise fixed.
It turns out that the electrics are not really that original, but that downside is more than made up for by the fact that the main parts of the guitar are original and in great shape. _________________ There ain't nothing you can't play on a Telecaster

Time to catch up on some recent arrivals...
In line with my Rosewood Tele fetish, I spotted a MIM Rosewood for sale locally...and of course the rest is history.
Fender MIM Rosewood Tele
Of course, the MIM is not a "real" Rosewood, it has Rosewood Veneer on the body and a normal maple neck, but a nice guitar nevertheless. _________________ There ain't nothing you can't play on a Telecaster

Yeah, it's not a bad lookin' beast. And pretty well made, for a MIM (don't ask)
Another cool Tele that has entered the West Wing is an Aussie made Tele copy. The brand is Formentin. A very classy and well made item...

Dunno. Someone said they were a popular make of Guitar. They're a bit weird though, you can't take the neck of to repair it... _________________ There ain't nothing you can't play on a Telecaster

| I'm no big Explorer fan, but I would have this one in my collection (if I had a collection) too. I don't see any distinctive wood grain pattern; is that mahogany? I assume so as that's standard for Gibbo's. How many "Gibson of the Month" guitars do you have? I do remember the Robot; are there others? |

Yup, Mahogany and nice it is too.
No, at the moment, I don't have any of the other guitar of the week special release gutars... _________________ There ain't nothing you can't play on a Telecaster

| I think I'm mixing this up with Musician's Friend's "Gibson of the Month" promotion. |
