Well the former owner thought it should look like that...and that's fine and dandy by me! _________________ There ain't nothing you can't play on a Telecaster

I know that I've said this before, but in this case it's true...
And now for something completely different...
Fender CIJ Jaguar Special Baritone
The Baritone gets tuned B to B and produces one of the most interesting guitar sounds that I have heard in quite a while... Love it! _________________ There ain't nothing you can't play on a Telecaster

OK, now for a short explanation for what you are about to see...
Once upon a time, a fanatical Telecaster collector was sitting at his computer on the TDPRI forum and as usual was feeling a little drowsy and bored.
On a whim, our collector decided to google the following phrase: "Masterbuilt Rosewood Telecaster". To his surprise, there were many responses to this and after visiting a few of the sites that were of interest, he found himself on a web page for a store called Daves Guitars. You can imagine his surprise when it appeared that the aforementioned Dave's Guitars not only had a Masterbuilt Rosewood Telecaster in stock, but actually a range of different types to choose from. After this initial astonishment passed by, our collector checked out the options avilable and once a particularly attractive Rosewood was found, emailed Dave to find out what such a guitar would cost. Again to his surprise, an email response came back almost instantly with a price that our collector knew in the bottom of his heart, to his surprise and dismay, he couldn't refuse.
Nevertheless, he managed to turn the comuter off and go to bed. Of course, it was a disturbed night...visions of Rosewood Telecaster and Get Back swirled around in his subconscious dreaming state and when he woke in the morning, he knew for sure what he needed to do - make a beeline to the computer.
And so it came to pass that our intrepid Tele collector was once again smitten with Rosewood Telecaster GAS and the results of which are now on display below:

That is an amazing guitar.
Is there a substantial difference between the masterbuilt guitars and a factory built buitar that you've noticed? I assume there is.
Is that the crown jewel of your collection (vintage guitars excluded)? |
