Buck Owens' song, 'Open Up Your Heart' is loaded with chicken pickin', but you'll have to work at it...that one has James Burton playing.

I've posted this before here somewhere, but I'll post it again.
My favorite chickin' picker, Albert Lee.
This video shows how he gets some of his sound:

Another song you might want to check out is 'Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down' by Merle Haggard. That one also features James Burton....Oh yeah, Roy Buchanan also did a great chicken pickin' job on 'Haunted House' from his first album.

Albert Lee, Ray Flacke, James Burton, Brent Mason and Arlen Roth all have instructional videos out and are very good.
I would recommend Arlen Roth's or James Burton's to start with.............their easier than the others.

Sorry about that bluesy! Laughing I bought a Johnny Highland chicken pickin dvd....it was the only one that actually had 'chicken pickin' on it and not just country. My guitar teacher has met him and said he's the best chicken picker he's ever seen...so far it's a good dvd. Cool
