I was contemplating trying a set of 10-52 strings, but I had heard that overtime, they are more "damaging" to a guitar than a regular string guage interval. I was wondering if anybody here had any experience with these. I wouldn't think (given that your neck is quite hard) that skinny top/heavy bottom strings would have any harmful effect that standard strings (.010 or .011) wouldn't.

I used 10 - 52's for years before I switched to 11's then 12's for jazz. Never had a problem with any of my guitars.

I've been using a GHS TNT's (10-52) on the blue Strat for a few month's now and really like them.

Glad to hear it. Other than the initial intonation/possible truss setup, I think they'll work well for me, and my playing style. Thanks for the advice. If you've got more wisdom or tips, though, keep them coming! Cool
