And cheap too. I may just have to go check it out today. _________________

Hmmm... that looks very interesting...
One sentence in that review confuses me, though...
"Peavey's exclusive Power Sponge™ output attenuator incrementally adjusts the power output of the amplifier while maintaining the distortion characteristics of the power amp at any chosen volume level."
Does that mean that you can't get any headroom anywhere, that "loud & clean "has been banished? That just sounds strange.
I do like the idea of having the freedom to change out tubes and investigate those possibilities, that's very cool. _________________ ...what used to be 50 watts is now 5, and still kickin' buttocks... |

It will be awhile but next time I am in Tucson. I will try one out and post a review. I'll take a 6l6 too since they come stock with an El34. _________________ Summum ius summa iniuria. |

I ordered one up. I had to use up my 20% discount by today (or it would be like wasting money ). So I'm taking a gamble. I needed a new harp amp anyway. I let you know what I think of it. |

Cool, I look forward to your review. Do you have a bunch of tubes on hand to swap around? _________________ Summum ius summa iniuria. |

Not really. I have some 6l6 in an old amp I could try, but I might have to score some to experiment with. |

That will work. I pretty sure it comes with a EL34. I don't know what preamp tubes it comes with. _________________ Summum ius summa iniuria. |
