Hey I noticed something with my old northland tube amp the other day. When the depth knob in the tremolo is at zero, if i turn the speed up, it seems to act as a midrange boost. Is this because turning the knob is bringing another tube into the circuit? I thought about that, but it's not just an on/off sort of thing. The higher the knob, the more midrange and even a little bit more gain. I think it's really cool, I was just hoping one of you more knowledgeable guys could help me understand why it happens. _________________

| I don't know why that happens, but a similar thing occurs on my Mace's phaser settings. |

It must be introducing another tube into the circuit, that's the only way I can explain it. Anyway, it really sounds good with the speed at 10. Gives a really vocal quality to sound, which is exactly what I look for _________________
