| Are there any amp techs on this site, pro or amatuer who can tell me what the qualifications are for repairing and modding amps, and how much math is involved in the training/schooling process? Thanks. |

145 Guy has a lot of experience with amps, but I'm not sure that he had formal education or has any type of certification or license. He ought to be back on line by Friday - maybe he'll have some input for you (oops - no pun intended!)
Meantime, if you want to do it up in grand style, go see Gerald Weber...
