Actually, I don't know if they are mini-HB or not. They certainly look like them, but I am not likely to pull it apart anytime soon to confirm...sounds like hard work to me
It is a nice sounding guitar though...and the output is fairly strong, so I guess it's likely they are the mini-HBs.
The refin is quite obvious in strong light, there is a noticeable difference in the original colour and the new paint, but this also means that the guitar was indeed originally in the white colour. |

Hmm...
I threatened to show a couple of old amp acquisitions, so here are the first photos!
1965 Fender Bassman and 1977 Marshall JMP 100W Heads
Both of these amps generate truly awesome (but different) tones. |

Uhh, the last 650-odd posts on this thread...
You may, however, want to use discretion in viewing them, as they have shown to produce persistent and sometimes irreversible GAS. |

That was my original point. I believe I saw every post on this thread, which lead to the wow comment. Beyond the axes, amps, and what not is there something I missed? I dont know if I can go back and re-read the whole thread without immediately emptying my savings upon finishing it! |

No, I don't think there anything you missed - except recent stuff that I haven't had time to photograph yet...
I'll try to fix that in the next few days. |

OK, I potentially opened a can of worms yesterday. After some thought, I went out and bought a G&L ASAT Classic. I don't know if this is going to be a one off or whether this will lead me down some dark path to more G&Ls. We'll see, I guess.
Anyway, here she is.
G&L ASAT Classic in Sunburst (made in USA of course)
These "Teles" are nice in a sort of spartan way... |

It might be time to invest in a new rack. |

| Ajay, I'd love to hear your opinion of the G&L compared to the Fenders, once you've spent some time with it. I watch them on the 'bay and am tempted to jump in once in a while, but haven't so far. |
